Turn-key solutions are provided where RBD Electrical oversees all project elements from concept, HV connection and metering application, environmental and heritage assessments, final testing through to the Department of Justice / TechSafe sign-offs and energisation. 

Specialist skills include installation of underground HV systems such as distribution padmount transformers, substations, power cable installation, secondary services, and integration into the local distribution network. RBD Electrical are registered as Accredited Electrical Constructors with TasNetworks and can manage your “Customer Choice” Subdivision High Voltage Application and project delivery.

Owners of HV assets such as switchgear and transformers, can receive expert support from RBD Electrical to meet HV legislative obligations – by performing tasks such as annual HV Switchgear inspections, transformer oil sampling and maintenance services. RBD Electrical can also work with asset owners in developing HV systems of safe work and procedures that are compliant with the Tasmanian Power System Safety Rules (PSSR).
